Mardi Gras World Hours
We’re open 7 days a week, from 9:30am to 5:30pm, with our first tour beginning at 9:30am and our last tour beginning at 4:30pm.
Holiday Hours: Mardi Gras World is closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and Mardi Gras Day.
Getting Here
If you don’t have a car or don’t want to pay for parking, let us pick you up: Mardi Gras World offers a complimentary shuttle for people taking our day tour, with designated pick-ups along Canal Street. To see shuttle pick-up locations, click the maps on the side panel. The shuttle is very easy to spot because it is covered with photos of Mardi Gras World and has the logo on the side. There are no prearranged pick-ups, so just give us a call when you are at one of the designated spots, and we will quickly pick you up! We are located at 1380 Port of New Orleans Place, on the south end of the Convention Center.

Driving Here
We are located at the foot of Henderson Street, in the Central Business District. It is on the south end of the Convention Center. If you’re having trouble finding us, just give us a call and we will be happy to direct you.

Parking is available in Lot J in front of our building, for a $20 fee.
Take the Streetcar
The streetcar is one of New Orleans’ oldest forms of transportation, and is a great way to tour New Orleans when you’re done touring Mardi Gras World. Just hop on a streetcar for a small fee and ride it to the Canal Street Station. You can arrange for the shuttle to pick you up right there. It’s a great way to check two special New Orleans experiences off your list!
